Getting to the Apartment

Picasso City Centre 1C is in the pedestrian zone of the historic centre.  Vehicles (except taxis) are not permitted to enter.  From the airport, you can arrive by train, car hire, or taxi.  Instructions for each are as follows:  

Train:  There are two options to travel by train to the historic centre from the airport.  Maria Zambrano Train Station is the main train station in Malaga which is used to connect to other major cities.  Maria Zambrano Train Station is outside the pedestrian zone and is a 20-minute walk to the apartment.  The other option is Malaga Centro Alameda which is a Metro linking the airport to the outskirts of the historic centre.  Malaga Centro Alameda is a 10-minute walk to the apartment.

Car:  Travelling from the airport to the city centre is about 20 minutes.  The closest parking garage is Parking Camas which is 2-minute walk to the apartment.

Taxi:  Taxis are permitted to enter the pedestrian zone.  Simply instruct them to take you to Mercado Central de Atarazanas Mercado which is the fresh farmer’s market.  The apartment is a 3-minute walk from the market.  The taxi ride is about 20 minutes, and the cost is between 25-35 Euros.

The apartment is fitted with a full kitchen, 3-piece bathroom, living/dining area, flat screen SMART TV, intercom, and free WiFi.  Kitchen includes a hob, fridge, microwave, toaster, Nespresso machine, plates, cutlery, glasses, mugs, pots, and pans.  Bathroom includes soap and shampoo dispensers, and hairdryer.  Bedroom includes an iron and iron board as well.  The building is equipped with a communal washer/dryer located on the rooftop.  It also contains a staircase, elevator for easy access, central heating, and air conditioning.

The Surrounding Area

The apartment is located inside Malaga’s pedestrian zone of the historic centre where vehicles other than taxis are not permitted.  The only traffic you will experience are pedestrians during your walks!  Noise from vehicles and scooters are non-existent.  The only noise you will hear are patrons in restaurants, bars, and cafes.

The historic centre has many sights, monuments, museums, and parks to visit.  Below are a few to consider when in Malaga:
